Το Κέντρο Επιμόρφωσης και Δια Βίου Μάθησης (ΚΕΔΙΒΙΜ) του Πανεπιστημίου Δυτικής Μακεδονίας ανακοινώνει το πρώτο αγγλόφωνο πρόγραμμα εξειδικευμένης επιμόρφωσης μαιών/μαιευτών με τίτλο: ‘Advanced Clinical Skills in Labour and Childbirth’ (Προηγμένες Κλινικές Δεξιότητες στον Τοκετό).
Η επιμόρφωση, που υλοποιείται με Επιστημονικά Υπεύθυνο τον Επίκουρο Καθηγητή του Τμήματος Μαιευτικής του ΠΔΜ, κ. Δημήτριο Παπουτσή, αφορά την εξειδίκευση σε προηγμένες κλινικές δεξιότητες στη διάρκεια του τοκετού με σκοπό οι επαγγελματίες υγείας να διασφαλίσουν τον ασφαλή και αποτελεσματικό τρόπο μαίευσης στη χώρα τους.
Το εν λόγω πρόγραμμα στοχεύει στην απόκτηση από τους εκπαιδευόμενους τεκμηριωμένης (evidence-based) και σύγχρονης (up-to-date) γνώσης σχετικά με συγκεκριμένες κλινικές δεξιότητες στη διάρκεια του φυσιολογικού τοκετού. Μέσω της συγκεκριμένη επιμόρφωσης, οι εκπαιδευόμενοι θα αποκτήσουν και θα επικαιροποιήσουν τις γνώσεις τους για την αντιμετώπιση μαιευτικών και νεογνολογικών συμβάντων, τη δυνατότητα προσφοράς τοκετού στο νερό, την ασφαλή επιχείρηση τοκετού μετά από προηγηθείσα καισαρική τομή καθώς και την ενσωμάτωση κλινικών εργαλείων προαγωγής του φυσιολογικού (μη παρεμβατικού) τοκετού, στην καθημερινή τους μαιευτική πράξη.
Με την υλοποίηση του επιμορφωτικού προγράμματος ενισχύεται η ολιστική προσέγγιση του τοκετού, και η προαγωγή του φυσιολογικού τοκετού με τις λιγότερες δυνατές παρεμβάσεις.
